Wide Dog Collar - 'Roca'

The Roca wide dog collar is here to offer every special dog breed a collar suited to them. 

pampeano's signature, Havana brown leather has been used to hand-craft this dog collar. Expert craftsmen in South America hand-select the finest pieces of raw leather to be vegetable-tanned using natural dyes, which involves a lengthy and traditional process that produces the most exquisite results which cannot be replicated by modern day practices. After the rich colours of the dyes have been absorbed, the leather is then tumbled in large drums to create its softness and suppleness. The results have provided pampeano with a prestigious reputation that reaches all four corners of the globe. A leather that combines an impressive strength, longevity and buttery handle, whilst improving with age; is the perfect choice for premium dog accessories and leather ware.

The colourful patterns that decorate these collars are also steeped in tradition. Eye-catching Aztec diamonds, called ‘pampa’ diamonds, are handwoven into the thick, Argentinian leather by master artisans in South America. The patterns have been around for generations, symbolizing the peaks and troughs of the nearby Andes Mountain range.

Dimensions
There are two sizing options available for our wide collars. XS 40cm and S - 45cm in length. The collars are 6cm wide at their widest point and 1.5cm wide at either end for a elegant refined look on your dog. For more sizing recommendations please refer to our size guide for more details. 

The dog leads are available in one standard length of 115cm and two widths –skinny (1.5cm) and standard (2.5cm)to suit the size of you chosen collar.

Material
Argentine Top Grain cow leather completed with a strong stainless steel buckle and D ring in an antique brass finish for secure lead attachments. The stitching is made of wax-dipped saddlery threads which are handstitched onto the leather with care. 

Care
To maintain the richness of the leather, you should nourish it with a good leather conditioner every so often. Apply a small amount onto a dry cloth and rub into the leather. Use a separate cloth to buff it until all of the conditioner has been absorbed.

Try and keep your dog collar dry. If it does get wet, just blot with a towel as soon as possible and let it air dry.

Do not machine wash.
